Local Success: Chuck’s Auto Repair Expands with AME’s Expert Guidance
A Legacy of Expertise with Major Dealerships
Over the years, AME Automotive has had the privilege of working with some of the largest automotive dealerships in the world. From the Longo Toyota Dealership in California, which sells over 30,000 cars annually, to the iconic 5-story Mercedes-Benz flagship store in Manhattan, NY, these projects have been remarkable experiences. However, nothing compares to the satisfaction of helping local automotive repair shops through their growth and expansion.
A Growing Local Business with Big Aspirations
Chuck Cox, Owner and President of Chuck’s Auto Repair in Canton, Georgia, runs a successful nine-bay shop with a reputation for being honest, full-service, and reasonably priced. Their exceptional service has led to rapid business growth. In response, AME Companies has been working closely with Chuck, the general contractor, and the architect to build a new 12-bay facility equipped with the latest in shop technology and design. The new facility will be connected to the existing shop, which is also undergoing a refresh with a redesign and updated equipment.
Expansion Plans for Greater Efficiency and Service
The expansion will include a 2,000-square-foot space housing offices, a training center, locker rooms, and a lounge for employees. The new 20-bay service center is set to open in early 2025.
Enhancing Customer Satisfaction and Creating Jobs
“Our goal is to get our customers back on the road as quickly as possible,” said Chuck Cox. “As our business has grown, I’ve hated having to delay repairs because we simply don’t have enough bays. This expansion will allow us to offer quicker turnaround times, ensuring even more satisfied customers.”
A Partnership for Success and Community Growth
Mason Cox, Chief Operating Officer at Chuck’s, added, “AME has guided us through every step of this process. We know cars, but we’re not experts in designing and building repair facilities. AME has exceeded our expectations at every turn. I knew they worked with major companies like Penske, but I never thought they’d dedicate so much time and effort to a smaller project like ours. We couldn’t be happier with them! This expansion will not only improve customer turnaround times but also create 12 to 15 new jobs in Canton. It’s truly a win-win for everyone.”
