Beachwood Porsche Relocation and Fixed Operations Expansion

Beachwood Porsche, part of Penske Automotive Group, recently relocated to a new facility just outside Cleveland, Ohio. The move placed the dealership in a larger, state-of-the-art facility one mile from its previous location and expanded the operation to more than 62,000 square feet.

The new Porsche facility was designed to support the latest GEN 5 dealership standards while giving the service, parts, showroom, and support teams more room to operate. For AME Companies, the project was a complete turnkey fixed operations effort that included planning, equipment, installation, relocation support, and service facility setup.

About the Relocation Project

Beachwood Porsche’s relocation was more than a move into a larger building. The dealership was expanding its service capacity, upgrading its fixed operations spaces, and creating a facility that could support future growth.

The new location allowed Beachwood Porsche to grow from 13 lifts to 19 service bays, giving the dealership more space to serve customers, support technicians, and improve daily workflow. AME worked closely with the dealership to help bring the equipment, installation, and relocation details together without interrupting service operations.

The Challenge

Relocating a dealership while expanding its fixed operations footprint requires careful coordination. Equipment has to be selected, delivered, installed, and made ready for use. Service areas need to be outfitted properly. Parts rooms, workbenches, air and lube systems, detail areas, and specialty equipment all need to come together on a working timeline.

For Beachwood Porsche, the goal was to complete the move and expansion without losing service time. General Manager George McClarey described AME as a complete turnkey solution, noting that the dealership would typically have needed several different subcontractors for a project of this size.

Our Role

AME supported the Beachwood Porsche relocation with a full range of fixed operations services, equipment, and installation support.

Our work included:

  • Turnkey fixed operations project support
  • Dealership relocation coordination
  • Service bay equipment planning
  • Automotive lifts and car lift equipment
  • Air and lube system installation
  • Workbenches and tool storage
  • Parts room installation
  • Freight lift support
  • Detail bay equipment
  • Photo booth equipment
  • Showroom car elevator support
  • Office move coordination

By handling these pieces together, AME helped reduce the number of separate vendors involved in the project and kept the relocation moving efficiently.

The completed facility gives Beachwood Porsche significantly more space, more service capacity, and a stronger fixed operations environment. The expansion from 13 lifts to 19 bays helps the dealership support more service work while giving technicians and staff the equipment and space needed for daily operations.

The project also reflects the value of having one partner coordinate equipment, installation, relocation, and setup. Instead of managing multiple disconnected vendors, Beachwood Porsche was able to work with AME as a single turnkey partner throughout the process.

Turnkey Support for Dealership Relocations

For AME, the Beachwood Porsche project is a strong example of how dealership relocation projects benefit from coordinated fixed operations support. From service equipment and parts room installations to showroom equipment, detail areas, lift systems, and the physical move itself, every piece has to be planned and executed with the dealership’s operation in mind.

AME Companies continues to support dealership groups with facility relocations, service department upgrades, equipment installation, storage systems, and long-term fixed operations solutions.
